The R.I. IMPÉRIO PNEUS INDUSTRIA, S.A., is a certified company since 1994 following the norm NP EN ISO 9002 and already finished the transition for the present norm NP EN ISO 9001-2000, in April of 2003. At the same time of this certification and with the Tyres Assay Laboratory foundation in1999, and which accreditation by the Portuguese Quality Institute occurred in July 1999, Império became the unique Iberian Company in the tyre reconstruction to have one laboratory for charge/speed tests realisation, following the CEE/ONU #30, #54, #108, #109 rules. Our factory (and in consequence all the products) are homologated by the «Direcção Geral de Viação», from January of 2002, following the rules of CEE/ONU #108 (passenger car tyres), and #109 (light truck and truck tyres).
